Privacy Policy
Key Market Insight exists to help members think clearly and act deliberately. We collect as little information as possible, and we never sell, share, or trade it. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
1. What we collect
We collect only the information required to operate the service:
- Your email address (to create your account and send member emails)
- Your name (optional)
- Your membership status (active, grace period, resigned)
- Technical logs generated automatically by AWS (for security and reliability)
We do not collect financial information, investment details, or personal scenarios. We do not track behaviour, clicks, or reading patterns.
2. How your information is used
We use your information only to:
- Create and maintain your KMI membership
- Send you member emails (new articles, updates, and essential service messages)
- Secure your login
- Maintain the reliability and safety of the service
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or advertising.
3. How long we keep your information
If you resign, or if your membership lapses after the grace period, your email address is deleted from the subscriber database. System logs generated by AWS are retained for security and operational reasons, then deleted automatically.
4. Cookies
KMI uses only essential cookies required for secure login and access control. These cookies:
- Are created automatically by the website when you sign in
- Keep you securely signed in while you use the site
- Do not track your behaviour
- Do not follow you across the internet
- Do not collect analytics
- Do not support advertising
We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third‑party marketing pixels. Because we use only essential cookies, no cookie banner or consent box is required under UK law.
5. Email
Member emails are part of the service. You can resign at any time using the link in any email, and your address will be removed from the subscriber database. We do not send marketing campaigns or promotional emails.
6. Security
KMI runs on AWS using the same industry‑standard security practices that institutions use:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Encrypted storage
- Isolated private database network
- Strict access controls
- No public database access
Only authorised KMI administrators can access system configuration.
7. Your rights
You may resign at any time, request deletion of your email address, or ask what information we hold about you. We respond promptly and without friction.
